This is how the promise of the Information Age has been fulfilled.
We have literally at our fingertips an enormous amount of factual, fictional, intellectual, and sensory data to sift at the whim of amusement or opportunity.

But to truly communicate, we must shoulder aside the constant and ever more insistent press of specious interest groups that have seemingly attached a dollar value to each instant of our attention.

Unfortunately, it is not enough anymore to have something important or otherwise worthwhile to say.
It is not enough anymore to try to shout above the din.
Everybody shouts.
